FOOD! MORE FOOD!

Food is big in my house! Every person in my house likes to eat and has there own tastes and preferences when it comes to food.

My husband Big Fred is the adventurous food connoisseur who has inspired my meal creations for many years. My oldest son Fred 5, is experimental in the kitchen because of his sometimes eclectic tastes – this means he creates a lot of things that he doesn’t actually eat. Then you have my middle son King who is in a transitional stage of trying new things, he’s the sauciest of us all. My youngest son Cassius is the pickiest eater in the house only indulging in the foods he can readily identify. Now my daughter Praise is the food champion next to her dad. She likes food, especially the expensive stuff like shrimp and lobster. There’s no denying she is still an all around American sweetheart at best who always love a good cheeseburger! Last there is my mother-in-law, Carol P. who likes the S’s…Sweet, Spicy and Salty. Me…I’m easy to please but I like good food with huge flavors.

Over the years I have developed a love of cooking for my family and our guests, so I will be featuring some of my favorite recipes and photos on this page. All of these recipes will be included in my upcoming book, “A Very Pleasant Home”.

I’m currently researching and creating recipes, for all of the folk out there that love a good meal but love the balance of affordability, minimum utensils, uncomplicated directions with that cooked with love at home taste. I look forward to sharing these delicious manifestations with you and your loved ones. In the meantime, do you have a favorite dish you want to see featured? Have a question about something foodie? Drop it in the comments and I’ll do my best to help.

I’m not a professionally trained chef yet, that’s coming in 2018 but I have been cooking for my family and others for over 20 years now. I’m responsible for feeding 7 people including myself and I think they will all attest to pure deliciousness 98% of the time.
